Sims' Next Top Model, abbreviated SNTM, is a YouTube series created in The Sims 3 based on Tyra Banks' America's Next Top Model, which sees a number of aspiring models compete against each other in a variety of competitions to win the title of Sims' Next Top Model among other prizes, in hopes of a successful career in the modelling business.
The competition is hosted by model and SaintPita runner-up Yachana Vazirani, who serves as the lead judge. The other members of the current judging panel are RED Models manager Sin Il Hong and celebrity stylist Meher Sabharwal. Fashion photographer and previous judge Maicle Gambardella also makes several guest appearances.
Format
Challenges
Challenges occur weekly and generally focus on elements important to modelling and social media, in order to help the models improve outside of photo shoots. Often times, a brand representative or other special guest evaluates the contestants and decides the winner of each challenge, who receives a prize for their victory.
Judging and elimination
Once a week, the judges eliminate one contestant from the competition, based on the models' performance in the challenge, photo shoot and overall performance. During the elimination ceremony, the host calls out the names of the contestants who are still in the competition. The two or three worst-performing models of the week are in danger of elimination, and one of them is eliminated. In some cases, the series sees double eliminations and non-eliminations by consensus of the judging panel.
